MS Memo: MAP Growth Testing | I hope that everyone has had a wonderful weekend. This week our middle school students will be completing the MAP Growth test. This is an online computer test that students complete on their Chromebooks. The MAP Growth scores help teachers check student performance by measuring achievement and growth. The MAP Growth tests provide immediate and accurate information about your child's learning, it's easy for teachers to identify students with similar scores that are generally ready for instruction in similar skills and topics, and then plan instruction accordingly. Additionally, the data will help us plan the needed interventions to help our students overcome any barriers created by the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help your child do their very best on the MAP Growth test. Please make sure that they attend both of their assigned days of school. You can also help them do their very best by ensuring they get a good night's sleep before their test dates. Finally, please make sure your child brings their Chromebook to school fully charged.
