Social-emotional groups in our K8 school provides young students with a supportive space to build important skills such as self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and positive relationship-building.
Through programs like Behavior Academies and Character Strong lessons, students engage in structured activities, discussions, and games that help them recognize and express their feelings, solve problems peacefully, and develop resilience.
These groups are led by staff from the Principal, School Counselor, MTSS teacher, and paraprofessionals. They offer opportunities to practice communication, cooperation, and coping strategies in a safe, nurturing environment.
By participating in social-emotional groups, students strengthen their confidence and ability to navigate both academic challenges and social situations with greater success.
